Hello! You should be posting in this forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/130-adjustment-of-status-from-work-student-tourist-visas/

The one you posted in is for people adjusting from K visas. No matter! hopefully a mod will move it, the forums can be confusing.

To answer your question, you will also need a current letter of employment OR 6 months of paystubs to show current employment. You will need (2) G-325A for the beneficiary and one for the petitioner. You will also need your medical forms in a sealed envelope. You will need birth certificates translated (if not already). I might be missing a few more things, but that'll get you started. Good luck!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas" as you are adjusting from a H1B visa and the prior forum is for K1, K2, K3 & K4 **

I have 3 G-325a Forms and Medical forms in a sealed envelope.Had my birth certificate translated.

But had only 3 latest pay stubs, I will add 3 more pay stubs & maybe employment letter. Planning on sending application pack tomorrow.

one more question.I am sending only 6 passport size photos (6 of applicant & 3 of US Citizen).I read somewhere in the forum that 7 photos are required of applicant.

Thanks for all the help you guys are awesome

Hello m9

I actually just sent my package in today. I have had the same question as well. I actually ended up sending 7 picture of beneficiary and 1 picture of petitioner (myself).

Total fees are correct, but I wrote it in two checks. 355 for the petition of alien relative and 1010 for adjust of status on I-485.

I've also included only 2 G-325A for my wife and 1 for myself.

In terms of paystubs, I actually submitted for the last 3 months, letter of current employment and copy of last 3 year tax return forms. eventhough you only need the most recent.

Otherwise, your package looks good. I also included cover letter.

I put my I-130 package into a 9x12 envelope with all supporting document. I put my I-485 plus all other documents together in a 9x12 envelope. Then I put both of them together in a flat rate usps priority envelope 9x12 and sent it certified mail. Cost me 8 dollars. =) Hope I did it right.

Anyhoo.. goodluck!
