Just wanna ask regarding the Advance Parole, if I got an approved and have the advance parole, could I travel to different countries or just Philippines? Just wanna know about this because, me and my husband is goin to have a skiing race on January 2011 in Canada and just wondering if I could go with him using my Philippine passport and the approved advance parole. We're also planning to have another catholic wedding in the Philippines next year and visit Japan for 5 days too (Japan needs a visa too) Your help would be greatly appreciated...THANKS VJ'RS and Goodluck all

It's my understanding that you can travel to most countries when you have your Advance Parole (AP). Canada, Japan, and 'Pinas should be fine. Just stay away from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Cuba! ;)

Don't forget to take a copy of your AP with you, and a copy of your marriage license too.

Advance Parole lets you back into the US. It doesn't matter where you are coming from.

I'm thinking an APer could run into trouble if they were coming back from say...Cuba.

Of course you would still need to get a visa to visit the other country(ies). Since your not a US Resident you may find that difficult. It was for Trisha.
