His dad also put in for his share of projects but he never has voted for an unbalanced budget. In fact his father is known as Dr. No for a reason. It is a lot easier when you are a congressman though and in a house with many hundreds to be able to stand up and fight the good battle. I know the Paul family and they are all upstanding people to a person but I will say that I have wondered how the son could be like the dad in a house of a hundred instead of hundreds when every vote is going to maybe make or break a bill. I do know he will try to do what is right by Kentucky as he has to do but I also know he thinks like his dad and wants to fight the good fight.

The only thing we can do now is wait and see how he votes and what he does in the future. Trying to outguess him now is useless. He has just won and it hasn't been a week yet. The Socialists are still smarting and are looking at anything to discredit him. Hell we even had one on this forum within a couple of hours try to find fault with him on his speech. That kind of venom is very telling. He will overcome. As for me I will watch and see what this senator does. I am interested to see how he withstands the egos that will come at him now. The power they will place within his reach will be tough. But again go ahead and try to knock down the ones that defeated you if it makes you feel better.
