Timeline

I´m a citizen of Spain. My fiancé in The USA applied for the K1. Does anybody know how long it will take, aprox.?

Can anybody give me some encouragement? I miss my honey so much.

Hi, Me and my fiance filed in July 2010 and we are still waiting on our NOA2 so you might be waiting a while yet anything up to 7-12 months depending on waiting times fluctuating and not getting RFE's etc! good luck hope your cases goes through as quick as possible :)

07/01/10- K1 Mailed
07/16/10- NOA1 Hardcopy
12/15/10- NOA2 Hardcopy Received
02/16/11- Interview at 10am London Embassy
02/24/11- Visa in Hand
02/27/11- POE - Minneapolis

AOS Timeline
04/22/11- AOS, EAD, AP sent today
04/28/11- AOS, EAD, AP Notice Date
05/04/11- Hard copy of NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP
05/12/11- Early Biometric walk in(Scheduled for 05/31/2011)
05/12/11- I-485 Case Transferred to CSC
06/13/11- AOS approved, card production ordered
06/20/11- Green Card Recieved

ROC Timeline

04/25/13- ROC package sent

04/26/13- ROC pack delivered

At the moment, prepare yourself for the 5 months for petition approval. If it comes sooner, then great.

That doesn't include the time for it to be processed at your consulate.

ROC Timeline

4-26-13------Eligible to file for ROC

6-17-13------Sent off I-751 Package

6-19-13------VSC Received our package. Signed for by K. Fitzgerald

6-24-13------Received NOA in the mail, dated 6-20-13

6-24-13------Check Cashed

7-05-13------Received Biometrics Appointment letter in the mail for 7-18-13

7-18-13------Biometrics done

8-20-13------Case Transferred to CSC for further processing

8-24-13------Transfer notice arrived in the mail today

10-21-13----ROC Approved!

10-25-13----Received approval letter in the mail

10-28-13----Production of 10 Yr Green Card ordered

11-01-13----Card has been mailed!....Received USPS tracking number

11-04-13----10yr Green Card arrived in the mail today....Yay!!

What do u do to cope with the wait? Sometimes I feel like it will never happen. I´m missing so many things that my fiancé and I should be sharing rite now.

mind you petition approval is NOT visa approval,petition approval is the package you sent,the petition,getting approved or denied,depending on how long it will take your consulate to set you an interview appointment it can take up to 8,9 months

Hahaha, I agree with your quotation! I guess I will have to exercise some patience here. This wait is so ridiculous! Why can´t 2 people who love each other can´t be together?

Yep, the wait is pretty horrible. They don't update you either, you just sit in a black hole and wait for a message in a bottle to wash ashore.

This board has helped me cope so much. Make friends here. All of us are like a big support group. My regular friends can't understand how this feels so it's nice to be around those going through the exact same situation.

Naturalization Process (FINALLY!)

06.05.14 - Check cleared

06.04.14 - NOA date

06.13.14 - Biometrics letter received

07.02.14 - Biometrics appointment

07.07.14 - In line

07.17.14 - 'Yellow Paper' date

09.10.14 - Interview scheduled NOA date

10.15.14 - Interview date

10.15.14 - RFE (missing documentation)

10.21.14 - RFE response received in NYC facility

11.04.14 - Oath ceremony scheduled, approved!

11.19.14 - Oath ceremony (8:30am) in Brooklyn - Completed! DONE WITH USCIS!
