There existing coverage should apply in Colorado, they can contact their provider and find out if there are higher deductibles/co-insurance etc that might apply.

If you want them to have medical coverage you will have to purchase it privately. I suggest you check online for comparative rates.

I'm assuming they "live" in India? If they have insurance there they can check to see if it will cover them while they are in the US.

Is it you that have the Green Card, or your Parents?

I am a US Citizen and my parents have the Green Card since last 2 years. BTW, currently they are in India with no health insurance.

What did they have before they went on vacation?

At that age it is going to be very expensive. Coverage varies by State so they would look at the State they are resident in.

It is the other way around. They come to USA for vacation and the rest of the time they are in India. In India, they do not have any medical insurance. They have visited USA a couple of times before and stayed without insurance but looking at a few cases of my friends and their horrifying experiences of parents without any medical insurance, I do not want to take any chances. Thanks.

Sounds like you have other issues to consider, a Permanent Resident has to live permanently in the US, sooner or later they will have issues at the POE.

If they want to live in India and visit US then they need a B2 Visitor Visa not a GC.

I have some information on the Indian Insurance Market, but it is out of date. I would first look to see if they can buy Travel Insurance locally, if not there is cover marketed in the US, but it tends to be both expensive and limited. But better than nothing.
