Biometrics Interview

Hey VJers just a question inquiry. I received my Biometrics appointment Saturday and the date I cannot make so have sent it back as instructed to ask for another date. No biggie really but I have to drive 2 hours to Atlanta for this, has anyone else had to travel like this just for this biometrics? Just asking is all. I was so hoping there was a local office in Augusta Georgia.

I actually had to drive 1.5 hours for that appointment- I justg thought hey its worth it! so i went, so its not so bad- I came from West Point Ga. to the Atlanta location

I sent in my appointment letter to Atlanta to reschedule another appointment which was supposed to be this Friday. I sent it back 2 weeks ago as soon as I got it and requested another day like tomorrow but I still have not heard anything. Does it take them a while to reply to this kind of thing? I don't want Friday to go by and me not show up and they say I abandoned my appointment. I wont be in town for it which is why I requested another date. I have tried to ring the 1800 number a joke and there is no number for there Atlanta office at all. Obviously they are in no hurry to reply
