We were denied because my husband didn't have call records from me. I never called him direct, only used phone cards and they rejected those. My husband said that she was giving him a denial letter but, if I can get the call records even with the 800#'s on them, they would accept them. I am very sad now and really trying to keep my spirits high for me and my husband. God is still God and he is awesome, and I know I know I KNOW this is not our end, so I need your help VJ family....what's my next step?

Try calling the customer service number on the card, they may be able to help you. Also like others mentioned if you used your cell phone see if you can get call logs printed out to show you call the 800#.

it"s quitesadat this point but just work on the lapses and re-enforce as they will be waiting for your email and once they see that, they know you have something to offer and he will get his stuff.

I'm so sorry to read about your delay. I say delay because everything will work out, though it seems hard to believe now. When my husband went for his interview the end of July, we were told to bring additional information. It seemed impossible but finally in September we were able to provide the required info and he was approved. So keep the faith, all will be well.

Im so sorry to hear about what happened to your husband. I think that they must have gave your husband and 221g requesting for further evidence. I know that it must be devestating right now, but when you have the chance see if you can get the phone records, send it to your husband and see if you can reschedule an interview date to submit what they need.More than likely if all goes well, they will give your husband a 1:00pm appointment. Ive been in your shoes before and I can honestly say I know how you feel. And remember with God everything is possible. Take care.

I am very sad for you, so whoever goes through this process knows how agonizing the wait and then wait to receive a very unpleasant news. I'm in the process

Do not give up that's just the start of a battle to face you and stand beside her great love. Good luck

Sorry to hear! As everybody suggested, try to get the phone logs somehow - cell phone company, land line company, calling card company, or the carrier he used from Nigeria etc.

I believe that some people they decide to deny just to test your determination to get a visa. You have to continue to press onward. With my first pass we were denied when Joseph couldn't detail my classified work ( after he answered everything else ok ) Is there anyway to show you were spending that time on the phone ? Does your bill include minutes spent on an 800 number. I know there is nothing on the Nigerian side because they don't have bills. Personally knowing how ####### Lagos is about call records I used my number and sucked up the bills to have the proof.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

@ NigeriaorBust: It really does depend on the mobile carrier in Nigeria with regards bills. I can speak for Zain as a phone provider here as your husband would need to provide a copy of his sim certificate, a copy of his nigerian passport bio data page, the interview letter from the embassy and also a written letter from your husband requesting for the call records for as long as you want and in 5 working days his call history records would be sent to him via email. Try to get your husband to visit his phone company office to make enquiries as he should also be able to get this info from any phone company in Nigeria. It is well. Be strong and everything will be well IJN. Amen

I cant believe those consulars still rejects applications even when there's concrete evidence that the relationship is genuine. Why're they acting on people's emotions? It's totally unfair.. and totally unacceptable. And i think the US government needs to do something abt this denials. I'll personally write a letter to Obama, the senate and all the top people in USCIS that the Nigerian US embassy's staff needs total overhauling and another set of staffs be recruited with immediate effect.. I'm on it. So let's see how fast this can be. Wish y'all the best in ur petitions.

I agree with moroccogirlny...I used a calling card (Walgreens) in the beginning of our relationship in 2008. I called the customer service number on the card and requested that they send me the call log. It took awhile (too long really). I had to make numerous calls, and after speaking to a supervisor they finally sent it via email.

I'm really sorry this has happened to you and your SO, but don't give up, not now when you have come so far... (F)
