We were denied because my husband didn't have call records from me. I never called him direct, only used phone cards and they rejected those. My husband said that she was giving him a denial letter but, if I can get the call records even with the 800#'s on them, they would accept them. I am very sad now and really trying to keep my spirits high for me and my husband. God is still God and he is awesome, and I know I know I KNOW this is not our end, so I need your help VJ family....what's my next step?

Ooh, in Lagos, they always demand the call records.......you need to somehow get the call records, and ask them to give you another appointment. Exact same thing happened to my friend last year...but her husband was able to get the call records from the phone company, though it took them 2months to be able to secure another interview appointment, but she was approved the moment she presented the call records. Don't give up.

....for all of us waiting on the CR-1 visa, they will not accept call cards as evidence in Lagos, the USC needs to be sure he is able to produce records of calls made to the nigerian. the more records, the better..

The denial is based on call records ?

If you can provide more details

Yes! just call records, he said the actual interview went great and he answered all the questions fine. She read through our emails and then asked for the call records and thats the only thing that was lacking. My husband and I are in shock too, but I know its not over!

Sorry to hear about that..do you use your cell phone to call him via calling cards? If so you can subpoena the records especially if you don't keep your statements. I have to do the same as I called my carrier and was told the only way to release the records is to subpoena them.

Also your husband can get his call records from Nigeria as well he just have to go to the call center of his carrier.

I am very sad for you, so whoever goes through this process knows how agonizing the wait and then wait to receive a very unpleasant news. I'm in the process

k1 of me and my boyfriend talked on the phone not just for skype we talk every day until 3 or 5 times a day and when he brought proof of our relationship took copies of these calls, we are waiting for the NOA2 arrives. Do not give up that's just the start of a battle to face you and stand beside her great love. Good luck

WOW I cant believe those people in that embassy just when I start to think they have gotten a little sense they do something like this NA WA for them!!!!! Which cell phone company do you use because in the begining of me and my fiance relationship I too used only calling cards I kept every calling card and stapled each calling card to paper when I sent the original petition. I however called my cell company (tmobile) and requested all of my phone bills that I needed from the start of our relationship (which was about two years back) for the newer ones I would just log onto tmobile.com and print them there because they would be as far back as 6months in the past. I would print them every month and highlight with a highlighter the 800 number and I did that for two years of bills. I then started calling him using localphone.com and they have a very easy way to print the call history so I just printed that. I shared all that with you so that you know that it is not over and you can get your call logs. also my fiance got his call logs from his mobile carrier in Naija. So just gather yourself today and hit the grown running in the morning for your call logs. I CANT BELIEIVE THE NERVE OF THOSE PEOPLE!!!!! I am so sorry...Keep your head up and keep praying. Which CO did he have?

November 5, 2010 Interview 7am APPROVED!!!!!! (6months 4weeks 1day) THANK YOU LORD!!!!!

Wow, what Cell phone provider is that? I use at&t and have access to the last 12 months bills on-line. It even includes the call, text & data usage details.

I recently started using a phone card call Penny Talk that I purchased at 7-Eleven (they have a website www.penytalk.com) you can register and it will store your call history for 90 days (it list the phone numbers calling from and to)-- just a suggestion. keep the Faith -- all things work in accordance to HIS will.
