My wife's case was transferred to CSC around 9/15/2010. We already received the Employment Authorization Card, the question is, has anybody been transferred to CSC in September? Any ideas on waiting time? What if her K1 expires before we get her GC????? Thanks

The K1 died as soon as she came through POE. You have done what you were suppossed to do, by getting married within the 90 days and filing the AOS forms. You have EAD and i guess you have gotten her SSN card.

You are good.

Ours was transferred to CSC in JUNE and we just got approval at the end of October. It'll come, but there's still several from May/June/July who haven't gotten GCs yet...patience :) And as ameribrit said, the K1 expires as soon as you use it. You're good!

To the OP--

There is a time line search link you can get to in the menu item above called "Immigration Timelines". Then in the middle column under Post Visa Display Options you will see AOS Section [ Advanced View ] Click on advanced view. There are filters to choose like K1 visa and show only transfered cases. After you get the results, you can put the transfer date column in date order by clicking the down arrow. Then just go through the pages until you find cases in September.

Here's a search done for you showing p.3 of the search K1/All local offices/Only transfered cases. You can see everybody on VJ who has done their timeline.

Ours was transferred to CSC on 9/3/2010. I just checked the status and we got approval without interview on 11/5/2010. We are hoping that the green card will follow quickly...

Congradulations!!! Where did you check the status? What is the phone number or how did you do it?

We had not checked for a while, so randomly I checked this morning and was shocked to find that the status had changed. My wife got the letter in the mail later on this morning:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

If that link does not work, go to www.uscis.gov and on the left hand side, click on "Check my Case Status"

Type in the MSC number (no dashes) and it should give you the latest.

I was really shocked that she didn't have to do the interview - I guess that the months of checks getting the K1 visa as well as our strong backup paid off.
