that's the first 'fn thing that went through my head..only thing is I dont know how to do the cosponsor forms..we need tax returns from my wife and the support form? and then on top her mother's?

got my police cert taken care of..$45 at windsor police headquarters..will be ready in a week. no fingerprints or pics though..odd..it's local and canada wide.

now, because I'm the beneficiary..do i still have to do the Ds3032...assignment of agent? or because I have a lawyer that's not necessary anymore, I think I read that on Ling's shortcuts?

your wife is the main sponsor regardless of whether she is only or co sponsor. she fills out the i864. and whoever you have as a co sponsor fills out the i864a. they need copies of the last 3 years tax returns ( whatever that is, ive never seen them lol)

your lawyer can be the agent is you choose, or your wife, or you, its up to you, but if you have a lawyer, then its most likely to be him - thats what youre paying the $$ for!

If co-sponsor (her mother) is household member (living with your wife), then MIL will fill I-864A.

If co-sponsor (her mother) is living at different address of your wife's, then MIL will fill I-864.

Your wife as the main sponsor will file I-864 always.

You just have to fill out the ds230 CRN, thats nice! lol. I hated doing that - but I hate filling out forms!

ok, so no ds3032 for me, fine...mother in law lives at a different address.but she owns my wife's house too..guess i'll have to wash that old hag's Benz every week until I get my citizenship, lol
