Hi all,

Just recently found out that I have a RFE at NVC. but anyway I found out what I did not send by my self (no check list yet). Hopefuly thats my RFE.... now my question is for part 5 Q: 21 "If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse" what should I put 1 or 0. She does not live with me. Also I have a sponser that is sponsering her only, not me and the sponser, since I didn't make enough last year. I got married this year.

Since you don't count the same person twice, that entry will be 0.

Did you include the co-sponsor's last 3 years tax transcripts, current year paystubs and employment letter with his/her IMMIGRATION status USC/LPR?

I will call them tommoro and wait for the e-mail.

for Co-sponsor yes for tax transcripts, paystubs no because he is on medical leave. he is a translotor for the ARMY, no employment letter but sent a copy of passport.

for sponsor i will call IRS Tomorow, yes for paystub but just got employed last month, will send a copy of passport i dont know if i should sent an empolyment letter

Hello Loto, I have noticed that you are the most active member in VJ. You are almost done in your processing. Can you walk us through all the processing? Besides, I am confused about DS3032 and i-864. I read that DS3032 can be emailed. Do we need NVC number to send it to NVC? I was dependent on someone else return last year. I am working this year. what should I do? Thanks.

Ok, I got lucky I think with NVC...I got through after 10 redials....25 minute wait..got our NVC case number..and I added our emails to the file..only thing is that I forgot to as for the IIN. Should I call back tomorrow and get it? And now they got our emails and stuff..how long until I get an email from them with more instructions? Oh, BTW, the lady was nice enough to tell me about hte process of Expediting the NVC application, so we're currently, within the week going to get all the documents and letters necessary, into PDF form and send that in right away.

And I'm going to get my PCC and Long form Birth Cert take care of this week.

Am I missing anything for now?

Are you choosing regular NVC processing or Electronic Processing?

Regular or Electronic processing? I thought I was signing up for electronic processing when I gave the operator our emails..they already had our attorney's email address on file...and I told her I wanted to do electronic processing so that we didn't have to wait for the snail mail?

Electronic Processing is completely electronic, it means you send scanned documents AOS & IV etc.

Regular is partially electronic (such as payments, DS-3032 email etc.), but the documents sending is by regular mail.

I think you are going for the first option, fully paperless one.

That's what I told them, that we'd get all the expedite documents scanned in as well in PDF form..so I'm pretty sure she understood what I meant. Hopefully my wife gets her butt in gear and gets the required stuff..good thing we got a scanner at her house..I can do all of that next week when I'm there. Or the lawyer will do it..I'll bust his butt too, if he slacks.

Montreal...I'm coming!! Add extra security..just kidding. lol
