How to confirm adress change with USCIS

When we change our address via form I-865 ,do we get any confirmation from USCIS confirming that they received our requests.Do they sen confirmation mail/e-mail etc?

I'm sending the mail with regular mail.

I'm a green card holder and we just wanted to notify USCIS change of address.

Non-U.S. Citizens use form AR-11. U.S. Citizens who have filed I-864 AOS, use form I-865. Send by Registered, Certified, or Return Receipt Requested to prove they received the change of address forms.

they request you also call them, talk to an officer and they will change the address. also they request you to mail in the form. i recently moved and I got a notice in the mail stating they changed my address

How Do I Report My Change of Address?

If you are not a U.S. citizen, and do not belong to one of the three excepted groups listed above, please refer to the following table:

If you Have no pending cases; Then you must

* File Form AR-11 (online OR by mail)

If you Have a case pending OR a recently approved case;

* File Form AR-11 (online OR by mail),

AND

* Change your address on pending cases (online OR by phone at 1-800-375-5283)

Our Online Change of Address service allows you to complete both an AR-11 and change your address on any pending cases.

Note that if you submit a signed Form AR-11 online without also updating your address on pending applications and petitions, you will still need to do so either by calling 1-800-375-5283 or by going online to do so at a later time.

If you mail a paper Form AR-11, we strongly recommend using certified, registered or return receipt mail. This will give you documentation that you did mail the form to USCIS, in case there should ever be a question.
