I will most likely need a co sponsor to bring my fiance to the US.. because I just recently graduated college and only worked part time jobs... I heard that if you have already sponsored someone into the US then you cant be a cosponsor.. is that true? I ask because my dad sponsored his wife from the philipines.. and i wanted to ask him to cosponsor.. any insights?

It's perfectly ok to sponsor multiple people with different affidavits of support. However, if any affidavit he signed previously is still enforceable then the immigrant he sponsored will be considered when determining his household size. The affidavit is still enforceable if the immigrant is still in the US, is still a legal permanent resident (not a US citizen), is still alive, and has not accumulated 40 quarters (10 years) of work credits through Social Security.

He will have to list anyone else he previously sponsored in response to question 9 on the I-134.
