Going to Interview with Fiance

I am new here and just in the beginning process of the K-1 visa. Does anyone find it helpful to go the interview at the Moroccan Embassy with their fiance(e) since this embassy is known to give a hard time?

More times than not, they will not let you in to the actual interview with your fiance. However, I think the consulate just knowing about your presence cannot hurt.

I think frequently visiting your fiance would help....and being at the interview wouldnt hurt....

I concur with the others ! Being there is not required, but it will never hurt... only help.

the consulate in Casa will not let you attend the interview, they won;t even let you in the building. I know a woman who had to wait outside all day for their fiance. I agree with the others, spend your time/money going to visit more than once (if you can) and providing as much clear evidence of a relationship as possible.

Hi and Welcome to the Forum. I have always heard you can not be in the consulate at the time of the interview. If you have the time and money, visit more if you wish, to show your relationship. It is not a requirement to be at the interview nor do you have to visit more than once. They require that you have met at least once in the past two years. I wish you much luck on your journey.

Sometimes they watch people why they are waiting. They won't let you go in for the interview, but you being there is more proof that this is a legit relationship. Good Luck.

Hi - I went to my fiance's interview and I think that it helped. I had visited him 4 times in 1 year (including the interview). When he told the woman interviewer that I had been there 4 times and I was outside waiting she said "wow, that's really good". He was given his visa the next day. I'm not saying that is why he got it but I think it really helped. I could not go inside for the interview and spent the day across the street in a cafe waiting. So if you go, you won't get let inside and will be waiting most of the day, but in MHO I think it helps.
