As some know I was at our local immigration office on Friday to get a I-551 stamp in my passport. Nebraska has my greencard and my son's greencard for corrections. I'm starting a job soon so I needed to show proof of being legal and able to work.

Anyhow today I took my son's passport in to get his stamped. No problem having it done.

Here is the funny part. I did a comparison of my stamp to my son's and discovered that I've been given 6 months work authorization and my son was given 1 year! He is 15 1/2. How did he rate? I'm not going to worry about this unless I don't receive my card back before the middle of February 2007.

Never consistency at my local office.
