Hi. My name is Kayleigh and i am from ireland. I married my US husband in sep 2010. We met while i was over on a J-1 visa and have been together since july 2008.He is still in the US and i am still in ireland :(... We decided to take the route of the CR-1 visa and mailed the I-130 form last week! Very excited about this...

But i am just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and can give me some insight on timeline and the interview etc... I just want to be prepared and i would love to be back by may 2011 would this be a possible timeline to hope for?

Thank you for your time :)

Kayleigh, welcome to VJ! You can find timeline information in the Immigration Timeline section (in the blue bar at the top of the page). If you go to your home regional forum - you will see others from your country with timelines attached to their profiles that may help. The regional forum members can also give you plenty of specific advice for your situation.

Good Luck!
