Hi guys, here I am again...

I am planning to get my sister in the future if I am already financially stable here in California... But since I can't do that for now, I want my sister to just visit me because she is really dying to see the U.S. and see the beautiful places here... But my problem is I don't know the qualifications... What are the qualifications? Is there any other way for me to bring my sister here or a way for her to visit me? Coz I really want her to see the fantastic sceneries/places here.... And I also miss her... Please help me...

Thanks in advance...

Jess

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

hi jess, the philippines is very strick about letting young single woman come to the us to visit .. thay think you won't return home...you need to have ties, she needs a passport....she needs spending money....traval insurance... you can try sending she a invertion letter you are the sponsor you will be responable for her and that she is staying at your address and state for how long ,and a return airfare ticket date you will pay all expenses and to make sure she will return home to the philippines..make sure it's only a short stay you can try that.. b-1 tourst visa. good luck

What I could suggest for her, and depending in her career. She could find a seminar or short course in the US related to her career, register, and get a letter stating that she is going to assist to that seminar. With that and all the other requirements, such as Letter of employment, bank statements, car title, and if possible mortgage or deed, she could have really good chances in getting a B1/B2 visa.

I am not sure about your status in the US, but If she only mention the purpose of her trip is to visit her sister, I see very low chances in getting approved; unless you already are a US citizen. But anyway good luck with the application.
