DO K2 have to appear in AOS interview with parents?

Hi VJ friends. Today, me and my son (entered US on K1 and K2) received our AOS interview notice in the mail scheduled for Dec 8, 2010. My question is does he have to come to the interview?

Anyone who had gone to the same process, please share your experience.

2008-10-17 : Touched

2008-11-10 : Touched

2008-11-11 : Touched

2009-01-09 : NOA2 Approved, email notification

2009-01-12 : NOA2 hardcopy received

2009-01-20 : NVC Letter Received

2009-03-01 : Email Notification USE Manila

2009-12-29 to 2010-01-03/04 : St Lukes Medical

2010-01-11 : USE Manila Interview Approved!

2010-01-15 : Passport and visa on hand

2010-06-20 : US Entry

My wife and her daughter entered with K1 and K2 in July. They have the AOS interview tomorrow. My wifes interview is at 10:30 am and my stepdaughters is at 11:00 am. The child will automatically receive GC if the K1 applicant is granted GC. So although the K2 has to attend there really is no formal interview for them. ... But they do have to show up.

02/02/2010 - Sent I-129F
02/04/2010 - NOA1
05/06/2010 - NOA2
07/13/2010 - Consulate Interview - APPROVED
07/17/2010 - POE (JFK)

07/30/2010 - MARRIED!

AOS-EAD Timeline:
08/29/2010 - AOS-EAD sent
09/08/2010 - NOA1
09/17/2010 - Biometrics
11/06/2010 - EAD card received
11/08/2010 - AOS interview - GC's APPROVED
11/19/2010 - Green Cards Arrived

After two amazing years together....
