Getting Frustrated

So I applied for n 400 in July and I am still waiting for the interview letter. I see people from the July filers and August filers have already had their interview (or the interview letter) or even oath and yet I wait. I received the yellow letter a month ago. I know some people will tell me to be patient but it can be hard. My d.o is Philadelphia and I don't know if they have a history of taking their time. If any one else has the Philly d.o let me know. I guess I will wait until the 5 months pass (for normal processing times) then I will go the congressman route.

I would that you call USCIS, and find out what is really the case. Some of the folks out there at their office are very helpful. Just a suggestion though! I know other Vjers have more to add. Remember also that it is also good to be patient. So do not throw that quality away. It is precious, and not many people have it.

Thanks for the reply. I contacted USCIS about two months ago to open a service request as I never received a biometrics appointment. I found out that USCIS were using my old prints. So the 1800 number has been helpful. I just looked at USCIS website and under processing times I saw that the last N-400 processed through Philly was from March 24th 2010 (that was updated on August 31st though) so I'm assuming I am a bit down the line. I guess patience is a virtue.

yeah your best bet is to call them and see what is going on!
