Hi everyone,

I have been recently approved for my 10 year permanent residency status and I am eligible to apply for N-400.

I had to move out from my previous address three months ago due to work and now live in another State (move from FL to CA).

Do I have to apply in my current State for N-400 where I have been staying for more than 3 months?

My spouse does not live with me as she remains in FL for now.

How do I justify 2 different addresses in the application: one for me and one for my spouse. ?

Do you need to have the same address when you apply for N-400 ?

Also in the past 5 years I had jobs in different cities and States than my spouse.

Thank you in advance

you need to apply in the state where you are right now. Like you said, you need to be living there for at least 3 months before filing. So it seeems you are filing on 5 year green card residency right? If yes then it doesn't matter where your wife lives. If they were to ask you, you would just tell them exactly how it is. You can explain that your job requirs frequent moving around or whatever your case is. That is my opinion, If I messed up on anything please somebody correct me.

Actually I am filling on 3 year green card after getting married. In the application N-400 they need my previous addresses and my current address and the one of my spouse . Why?
