So yesterday, I called VSC. I asked about my case explained it was almost 45 days since they received my RFE, that it was approved May 10, that my application is dated March 9. The lady said, let me get the supervisor, came back after five minutes and said 'ok, what is your phone number, I will call you back tonight. Oh and do you have any criminal history, No? ok We'll make it easy on you'... Wow!

Do I need to say that I got no call back from them last night? Of course I didn't. I call back today and get someone else of course. I practically got into a fight when she gave me the standard line, which is either 30, 45 days or 60 depending on where in conversation you are, she said there's nothing extroardinary why a supervisor should look, she said that since I started calling (they have a log) I've been told the same 2-3 weeks. (That was 2 months ago). However, she sees no record that I called yesterday! After that the conversation devolved to her telling me that I should be lucky my petition is not on a shelf somewhere, that they don't process them, but the officers do, but that if I call everyday, I'm just slowing the process down. I said I don't call everyday (At most once a week since the RFE is probably accurate ). She said well you called yesterday, I said 'Well you said you don't have a record of that!' etc, etc..

Anyway... to those of you in similar situations - If you still have a grain of hope or confidence in the process, give it up and just forget it! Happy Tuesday!

So out of that whole story, that's what you're wondering about? I wonder if by some chance you spend 3 more months in their purgatory, that's the first thing that will come to your mind then?
