My wife (K-1) just received I-797's for each of the following forms I-485, I-765, and I-131 now looking at the USCIS online it says that all are under initial review, so her's is fine.

Here is the question now. She has also applied for her son (K-2) the same forms the same fee's since he is 17, well she received I-797's for I-765 and I-131 and is under initial review.

Now his I-485 is another thing she did not receive a I-797 for it and only shows on the USCIS website that it is under Acceptance has a receipt number, they have cashed the check for his AOS verified through my checking account.

I called USCIS and was told there could be a delay in-between I-797's being issued, Im not sure if I need to be concerned about this right now or not it is just funny that 5 out of 6 are

under initial review and 1 is not since all were filed together, so should she do anything at this point?

Then I asked her about her son's Alien Registration Number and was told that he should have that also but it is not listed on any of his I-797 that were received. How would she go about finding out his A# ?

They did meantion about getting a Info-pass to get this information since they can not tell me, we would drive almost 4 hours for 2 questions.

So any ideas would be very helpful for us.

I have a similar situation and I think you have nothing to worry about. I applied for AOS and EAD for my wife and stepdaughter a 3 months ago. My wifes I-485 and I-765 said Initial review and my stepdaughters I-765 says Initial review but her I-485 says Acceptance only and has never been touched the whole time. We have both AOS interviews on Monday. So I think your situation is normal. ( I did however get a I-797 for my stepdaughter with an A# so maybe it was lost in the mail or never sent.) When you get the biometrics biometrics appointment for both of them it will have your stepsons A# on it.

I wouldn't sweat these details. I don't think that my wife's and my son's NOAs came at the exact same time also.

You haven't received an RFE, so everything is fine. Relax.

I am hoping to get A# very soon I have 2 different Universities that will accept him as a Missouri Resident using my time in Missouri to be his present time in MO too, would make a big difference on tuition cost. I was really surprised that they allowed it but it was only after I told them he was not coming here as a student but as my stepson.

The other thing I am wondering about that on my wife's I-797 for her I-485 it says that she needs that and any other I-797's that may apply to this application

I figure it will be the same for him and since I am not sure about when that interview would be I figure better get started now.

Biometrics will happen before the AOS interview. You may get the AP without biometrics.

Check his I-94. Or sons had their A numbers written on their I-94s, both were K-2s.

Otherwise, what the others have said is correct, nothing to get upset over yet. The notifications all came to us separately, sometimes together in the mailbox and sometimes separated. I just sent RoC for Alla and Pasha last month and the notices came about two weeks apart even though they are both on the same petition! Pasha's letter more or less said "Oh yeah, you too".

Well found a couple good things in the mailbox today, stepson's I-485, and then each got their I-797's for biometrics on the 22 Nov in St Louis, MO.

Covers both I-485 and I-765, so one step closer hurray!!!!!!!!
