I'm a new member as of two days ago and would like to delete my account. Upon first looking at this site....I found very helpful advice and will continue to use it for that; but there are people that come on here that seem to want to cause trouble. I don't need that. I just want to be an observer and not a participator but didn't see where I could delete. Anyone know?

Just ignore any idiots you find (you can even block them and never hear from them again). For every troublemaker there are many many more good people trying to help out others in the process. I hope you stay.

srsly, don't let a few jerks, or one really big ignorant one in particular change your mind...maybe you can ask an admin to delete that thread and it would help?

some people just revel in trying to make other people just as miserable as they are, they just can't help themselves. just feel bad for them for being such sad and angry people and ignore them the best you can.

The nice people out weigh the inconsiderate people. Like life itself there are those few that are bitter or rude, but don't allow that to ruin the help and encouragement you'll find.

all the best no matter what you decide!

You'll always find inconsiderate people in the world, even in face to face social situations. VJ has some inconsiderate people, but it also has many many very kind, helpful and informative people too. Just weed through the posts that you don't want, and take in the good information on others.

Glad you decided to stay.... you'll learn a lot, and you'll also be helping out others eventually too!!!!

Best wishes on your journey!!!

This place is like the Hotel California. I asked for my profile to be deleted and it never was. So I decided to stay and see what happens. I was bullied one moderator and ignored by another. Can anyone show ne how I can delete my account?

If you don't find a way to delete your account, then you can just walk away from it. Do not log-in any more or actively participate. You can still read the forum posts without signing in.

Best wishes!
