1-864ez form outdated

Hi VJers,

I sent my AOS forms yesterday, the I-864 ez form has expired on 10/31/10. I filled out the info on that form. New forms are not available as of now. My question is am i okay?

if there is no newer versions, you're fine. For some forms, USCIS accepts even the second latest version (i.e. the latest expired one), or at least that's what they say on their website: I read that some VJ's had problems with that, probably because the person physically touching their files was not aware of their policy, so I wouldn't recommend using an outdated form. this case is different, though, because there are no other alternatives. Don't worry.

Check the Forms section of the USCIS website. It will show the acceptable versions of each form. If the version that you have is acceptable, go ahead and send it.

All of the versions of the I-864 expired on 10/31/10. Currently there isn't a newer version. The 10/31 forms are fine to be used at this time.

Pheww... I was wondering the same thing when I saw the expired date of 10/31/10. Then I didn't see any updated version. I am about to send in my packet in 2 days.
