help with I-864A join sponsor contract

okay I'm helping my joint sponsor by filling out the form atm and I'm not sure which income to list as it's different on the W2 and Tax transcript

on the W2 where it lists Wages, tips and other compensation it has the income and not rounded off (I assume we can round it off on the form?)

On the tax transcript first page it lists the income from the W2 rounded off as .00

the second page of the tax transcript has a line that says

TOTAL INCOME......................$00,000.00 (this total amount is higher than the income on the W2 is this the adjusted gross??)

TOTAL INCOME PER COMPUTER.........$00,000.00 (this amount is same as total income on the page)

My question is which I'm confused about because I don't understand the whole Adjusted gross income thing that well, is which amount am I suppose to enter the one from the W2 or the TOTAL INCOME line on the tax return.

anyways hope this explains what I need to know if not lemme know because I need an answer

If you or joint sponsor has latest employment letter, enter the annual income from this letter.

Otherwise grab the number Total Income from the last year tax transcript.

I have all 3 previous year transcripts for the joint sponsor so the TOTAL INCOME line on the tax transcripts is the one I need to put on the form?

BTW, can't you get some recent paystubs for the current year from the co-sponsor as well?

yea she already printed bi-weekly stubs from Jan 2010 for me lol , but just going to send last 6 months worth starting from june may 2010.

i dunno if I'll pass it because I'm waiting on husband bc and DS-230 it usually takes 10 days to get mail from him, ment to get it sent sooner, but procrastinated a with the the delay from USCIS.

Because of the delay from your side, now it will be difficult. However, it will be still faster for you.
