This update is for LotofPatience and anyone else wanting to know about NVC processing stuff.

I decided to try and email my DS-3032 Choice of Agent hoping they would get it quickly so yesterday evening it was emailed @ 7:32pm CST and got a reply today @ 10:42am CST

I used in the Email subject line, (Attn: Supervisor Sue, NVC case #, Beneficiary name, Beneficiary D.O.B)

dunno how much the attn: line helped or just got lucky, but I'm happy for the quick response and wanted to share it with anyone who'd find it useful.

Here was the body of the e-mail

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the instruction packet will be sent.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

12-11-10 Sent requested documents.

12-13-10 Documents arrived @ NVC.

01-10-11 Case complete at NVC.

Consulate

02-09-11 Husbands Medical Exam.

02-14-11 Interview. Approved.
