Hello everyone,

I was just reading another topic about changing address with USCIS and it reminded me that, back in August while awaiting our NOA2 and before traveling, I had changed my address to that of my parents so that if it arrived while I was away someone trusted would receive it. Short story is, it was approved the day after the change, I picked it up at their house and then I forgot all about USCIS.

We received the K1 visa a few weeks ago so no problem there but I wonder, is it a problem that USCIS still has my parent's address listed as mine? Is there any point in changing it back now or can it just be done when we deal with them again for AOS, ROC, etc. in the future? I suppose the worst case is that if they try to contact me/us by mail in the interim for any reason, it'll go to my folk's house instead of mine. I can't think of any reason why they would need to know my correct address right now but I just want to be sure that I'm not missing a step (or some weird immigration law requirement) with the Fed gov't/USCIS between visa issuance and AOS filing.

don´t worry, you don´t need to do anything now. When you start the AOS stage you have to fill out the forms with your current address.
