Did I doom (by accident) my I-129F application?

Hi everyone. I had thought I prepared everything perfectly. My gal (I will call her Anh) is in Vietnam and we have met twice in Europe so far. We are deeply in love and want to be together.

So I sent the I-129F form in on Friday, despite my being so sick I could barely walk. And it looks like my being sick screwed me up, because I got home and found the PICTURES I had printed out were on my desk!

Pictures are proof of the relationship and now I have none in the packet. There were copies of emails, airline stubs, etc.

How much trouble is this going to cause? Will they just ask for pictures later?

I'm terribly afraid I have just caused Anh and myself many more months of waiting.

Don't panic. Others have submitted evidence without including photos and have been approved. Its up to the adjudicator as to whether the evidence submitted is sufficient to show you have met within the required 2 year period. If that evidence does not suffice they will send you an RFE. All you can do is wait. You should know soon enough.

One isn't required to send proof of the relationship with the petition, as per the I-129F instructions.

I really don't think it will delay things 'many months'....maybe a week or two. They will just send an RFE (request for further evidence) and if you provide the missing evidence promptly then it is usually fixed quite quickly.

We were approved 2 weeks after our RFE.

As Aussiewench said, photos aren't required, technically. Only evidence of meeting. The worse case senerio is you will get an RFE and perhaps a 2 week delay in the process.

Don't worry you'll just get an RFE asking you for what you missed out.

You are processing thru Vermont. If you DO get an RFE, you should have it pretty soon.

I've heard Vermont is good. Of course, I am possibly moving to North Carolina before all is said and done, which means a change of address and going to another center. I'm nervous about that for sure.
