It would be very helpful if we knew what kind of visa you applied for, what country you are from, and the circumstances of your arrival in the US.

As to AP just because you are in the US doesn't mean you don't have issues from your prior country that would affect your application.

i been fighting the immigration people since more than eight years evry time we said their is a light at the end somthing elss be happened

last time my lowyer told us the waiver is the last step we applied the waiver and waited for three months when we found out we was approved you dont know how was the feeling we thought its over but the emmbasy came out with the AP thing

Well if everything is correct and the waiver was approved then AP should be the last step. The bad news is it can take months or years to complete. Best thing to do is have your spouse call DOS (someone pop the number up here plz) to inquire on the status of your case.

You've made it this long just hang in there a little bit more.

We were in a similar situation. My husband entered the US with fraudulent documents in 1999 and applied for asylum. We took his case all the way to the federal courts. 8 years and $30k later we were filing waivers to get him back to the US after his deportation. My husband missed 2.5 years of our son's life. They too had an almost non-existent relationship through Skype. Our son was 3 when my husband left, and he turned 6 just two weeks after he returned home. It's a long hard road, but just have faith that it does end one day. When I was in the middle of it, I never ever thought there would be a day when we would be reunited again. Now here we are over 15 months since his return living a normal happy life like we used to.

I recited surat ash-sharh over and over again through all of our difficulties. For God promised that with every hardship there will be ease. Don't lose faith that his promise to you will be fulfilled soon. Good luck :)

what elss can we do????????

i think nothing but wait

Waiting is all we can do. And I just read an earlier post where you said the Amman embassy isn't very busy. I can tell you when we were trying to get an interview date, they were VERY backed up! And a friend of mine had their case complete with NVC on May 18 but didn't interview til Oct 27.

With that place, I think it's ALL about patience.
