Its been a while since I been on here. I am married to a Nigerian, all through out our marriage he made excusses to live in others states. He was in Dallas because they pay more but he only made mim. wage, then to New York for the same reason and it was the same thing there. When in "D" he was on single line meeting females. I turned all info to Immugrations (nothing). He was in New York doing the same I turned it over to Immugrations(nothing). I kept holding on to hope, and I was trying because alot of people said he married me for his GC I didnt want that to be true so I played the fool. When he did move back into the house he had issues w/ my teenagers. He would do things a normal adult would not do to make it seem like my boys were doing these things to him. I found out because my guys were gone for a week to camp and John didnt know but 3 times that week he said they did something to him.

I finally had enough so I put him out.

We had our interview w/ Immugrations (video taped). They 3rd degree both of us seperately which I shared everything and he coved it up he even told them I lived in the apartment w/him and my kids live at the house by themselves.

Well he left 2 months ago saying he was going to Switzerland because his mom was dying from throat cancer. I only heard from him once and its all ok because I really want to wash my hands of him. Well today I received a call from his mom that is not dying or sick and she has not seen or heard from him.

Last month I had a info pass w/ immugrations because I wanted to know what was going on with our case. I can not receive any information because I only petitioned him........What am I to do?

I just want to make sure if he does get his papers its not due to me, I stated to the investors I wanted my name off his papers......What can I do.

You are doing what you can. Keep track of all records you have where he has said that he is going here or doing this and that. Keep reporting him. PM Leedah , she has been through this although he was violent and by keeping on it a deportation order was eventually issued. Make sure you separate yourself from him as much as possible, close joint accounts rekey your doors. Unfortunately there is no way to "get out " of your affidavit although if the government ever tried to collect from anything he collects I would think you could pose an interesting argument that you provided evidence that he was defrauding them and their inaction caused the condition where he further defrauded them. Good luck

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Use this map to find the corect immigration enforcement center ICE offices

send copies of your evidence CERTIFIED so that someone has to sign for it. Put the receipt in with the evidence mailed so you can show what you mailed and who signed for it. Repeat if you get new evidence. They aren't going to be very informative to you as the reportee. Just keep your own records. There is a page you might check once in a while to see if he is detained but I wouldn't hope for anything fast.

I am sorry to know you are going through this. You need to file for divorce ASAP. Remember that being married comes with the financial obligations of the union, so I am sure you don't want to be financially responsible for him or his debts. Particularly now that you don't really know where he is and what he is up to. Too bad it did not work out for you.

Best wishes!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

Applied for divorce, he would not sign and because we have property together it will cost more and take longer which is what I am in the process of doing.

Thanks!

I would love to speak with you. I have not been here in ages myself. I was totally cheated by the Nigerian I married. I see several women that have. We all need to bond together and get to immigration. These men usually are actually scammers and using a woman to survive is all they know. I am trying to report mine as well but not having much luck. Please email me when you get the chance.

Start a thread in sub Saharan to gather under, I have Happy Endings for those of us that are doing well but you also need a place to gather info. Creating a yahoo group may be good place to collect experiences and methods that have been successful. It is a shame that these people exist and pray on others to achieve their dream and they need to be shown that they can't stay when they do this.
