AR-11 for CF1 holder

Hi all VJers,

Just got a question regarding the filing of AR-11 to USCIS... i already sent the form last month ago and there's one question that comes to my mind that would need your inputs (and it's not that a biggie)... I'm already on a CF1 status (got already my conditional perm. resident card) before my wife and i moved in to our new house and filed the AR-11... My question is: On my status, do i still have a pending case? Do i need to call customer service to verify my change of address?

Thanks for sharing, I know it's silly question but I only just want make sure that i didn't screw up something...

Frankly I do not understand your question.

Let's recap - you already have the actual I-551 ( green card), you moved, and you want to know how to inform CIS of your move. If that is the case, you should use AR-11.

As to your "pending case" - you still need to have condition removed, if that is what you are asking.

It is your obligation to apply for removal, CIS will not send you a reminder.

Ok nemu, let me make things clear for you... As you can see on my timeline, I received my green card last March '06; we moved in to our new house last month, let's say July 3; I filed/sent the AR-11 July 7 (not exact)...

I heard from the other VJers that when you filed AR-11 you should inform the customer service if you have pending case... The question is: On my status as CF1, am I still on a pending case or something? Do i have to call the customer service? coz I'm "conditional", I don't know if I'm still on a pending case or not... That's one thing I want to clarify...

Ah, got it. No, no need to bother with the call. Up-to-date address is very important when you are expecting something from CIS. In your case, AR11 is sufficient, you will supply your address one more time when applying for removal.
