my fiance petition me. he is a divorce us citizen and im a single woman. i'm almost on the last two step which is the medical and interview. immigration send me a letter last august 25, 2010. my question now is if there expiration date on my petition. how long my petition is valid? the petition file on february 2010.. and i havent yet take a medical test and schedule for interview. please response to my question. thanks!

hi. if your case is at manila embassy, you have a year to schedule for an interview. when you pass the interview, i guess you have 5-6 months to go to US. your medical result is valid for 6 months. My petiton got approved july,2010. i have my medical october and interview on november and if i passed the interview, i plan to go to US on march 2011.

i am nervous about the interview.. our case is so complicated.. although we really have relationship and we live together in a apartment when he stayed here, i have no enough evidence like picture or card to show. he come here twice. two and half months each visit, so almost 5months. we have our relationship less than 2 years. i only have 3 pictures although we always together.. i have no card or letter because his not that type of guy who like to write letters. i also only have one email saved.. we chat but i haven't print it before because i didnt expect that my fiance will petition me, and i dont know what is the requirements before because its my first time. i also have problem regarding his affidavit of support. he can support me. he has business. but his itr is joint by his ex-wife and they filed it as a loss, so that they can get refund.. he also not have enough money in bank because he just open a new account. i dont know how to answer the question regarding this, on how can i prove to the consul that we really love each other and we really want to be together in us. can you help me on how to answer the question regarding why we dont have lot of picture or card and about his itr or affidavit of support. . im so worried... i want to pass the interview so that we can be together for good.. please help me.. thanks!! good luck on your interview too..
