1. How many years do you hope to have left before you die?

30. I don't mind dying after 65. The men in my family tend to die in their 60s more often than not anyway so I expect it.

When there's a will, there's a way.

6. If you find yourself alone and unable to work because of health reasons, would you be willing to accept public assistance?

In an age of internets, there's plenty of ways to make money without it.

7. Do you have insurance that would pay you should your poor health prevent you from working? If not, would you consider buying such a policy?

LTD insurance is something everyone should have if they cannot necessarily build up a large enough savings for that situation.

1. Probably about 28 years could be longer as my 90 year-old Dad is still kicking.

2. I have two kidneys and never had high blood pressure.

3. Good health as far as not on any meds which my doctor thought was an increasing rarity.

4. Not counting solely on Medicare and plan to continue saving money. If that doesn't work, I'll leave the country and live cheaply.

Sorry, I don't feel like making each question a quote!

1. How many years do you hope to have left before you die?

45 or more (I'm 30)

2. Many vital organs begin to not function properly as we advance in age. For example, your kidneys will begin to fail if your blood pressure runs high. How much further would you want to live on kidney dialysis?

I don't really know, I think it would matter how old I was. The younger, the longer I'd want to live for my family.

3. Overall, do you consider yourself in good health? Do you see yourself maintaining optimal health throughout your life?

I think I am in good enough health, but hope to get better.

4. How do you plan on paying for maintaining optimal health as you advance in age? Prescription drugs, therapy, assisted living?

My husband will pay for it. :P Or, I don't know.

5. Will your spouse be able to support the both of you if you could no longer work because of health reasons?

I don't currently work, so yes. He makes much more than I would if I worked.

6. If you find yourself alone and unable to work because of health reasons, would you be willing to accept public assistance?

Yes

7. Do you have insurance that would pay you should your poor health prevent you from working? If not, would you consider buying such a policy?

I don't "work". If I did, would matter how much that insurance is.

hmmmm....I never really think about the end of my life or what my final years will be like. I make plans for the future but I don't think that far ahead. I will probably live to be very very old since that seems to be the norm in my family.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
