Hi everyone I have a question on determining the house hold size for the I-864EZ. I've seen many topics on this, but nothing that answers my question. I hope others with more experience can help. I am not going to get a co sponsor for help. I feel that my current income of (42,359.30 YTD) is more than enough to meet the 125% poverty level for a 2 house hold size. I am currently living in a downstairs studio apparment. While I have a cousin that has the upstairs rental apparment. Technically we have the same address. Would I have to include him also in the house hold size since we both have the same address?

I wouldn't think so.

Taken from the instructions on page 2 of the I-864EZ:

How Do I Count Household Size?

Your household size includes yourself and the following

individuals, no matter where they live: any spouse, any

dependent children under the age of 21, any other dependents

listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, the

person being sponsored in this affidavit of support, and any

immigrants previously sponsored with a Form I-864 or Form

I-864EZ affidavit of support whom you are still obligated to

support.

To me, it doesn't sound like you would include your cousin in the household size.

Agreed. Household size includes you, your spouse, and any dependents claimed on your Taxes.

Your household size is two, so you just follow the instructions that come with the form.
