CFO is a joke

Just another way to extort money.....

attending the seminar is more stressful than going for medical and interview.. especially after the seminar, claiming the BDO thing. it took a long time till i claim and proceed to CFO Office. they said they start at 9.30am but we started around 11am :(

I found the CFO (PRISM) seminar very amusing and entertaining what with the moderator talking to all of us like we were idiots/dumb/low IQ and like we were about to be killed by our abusive husbands/grooms.

The seminar I attended didn't include any video showing. It was just lecture and Q&A with the I'm-assuming-you're-all-idiots-and-about-to-be-abused-by-your-husband moderator. My interview took less than a minute. They took a much much longer time interviewing those who met their husbands or husbands-to-be online.

It was a waste of time in so far as gaining information that I don't already know is concerned. I'd say it's informative for people who don't have internet access (so can't access information on US and PH government websites, etc.) or who don't like reading or finding things out for themselves.

For visitors (like myself I went through NAIA #1 10/18 just before Juan), there is a Departure Card that you fill out.

The new varsion of the arrival card includes it on the right with perforation (already filled it out on my arriving

flight the week beforehand). I submitted the Departure Card, passport and terminal fee of P750 at the booth before

entering the Immigration area (clerk hands it back with receipt). If you're Filipino and haven't paid the travel tax

in your ticket fare already (think it's still P1620?) you may need to pay that as well. The Immigration Officer will

take your Departure Card and place a departure stamp in your passport. If you're missing something like the CFO stamp,

I imagine this is the last point where you may be stopped. When I was entering the airline checkin line the attendants

handed out a separate Departure Card to fill out (but I used the one that I'd already completed the week before).

This is the most truthful statements ever posted on VJ. Thank you (And you didn't have to be in the 40K+ poster club to do it! Forget it, you DON'T want to be associated with THAT bunch )

Honestly, what makes CFO so stressful, is that those old, envious nuns see young Pinays escaping the Phils for better opportunities and lives in the US and elsewhere, and those wrinkly, stinkly, grumpy old nuns are somehow free to impose requests for the most unreasonable documents and information, even after Pinay has passed the St. Lukes Medical and USEM standards!!! Unbelievable that this crew has such authority to inconvenience fine young ladies trying to improve their lot in life.

hi :) what do mean by the 40K + poster club? sorry i'm a bit slow hehe..

anyway when i was on the seminar, the guy told us they can hold our certificate if we don't follow his rules.. like its not allowed to cross legs, also he seem pissed off on a girl when she put down her hand before he told us so.. for me, it just so mean.

I've also attached an image so that you can see the required information. Hope this helps!
