I did a I-130 on 04/23/2010 and my case is still pending. On Sept 23rd I put in to expedite the case because my wifes work visa in Norway expires in Dec. The expedite was approved on the 27th of Sept. but our case is still pending. We also did the I-129F in 03 Jun 2010 and we recieved a RFE in oct and we sent that back and now its under review since 07 Oct. We put in a inquiry and i received a email today saying that our case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days. We dont have another 45 days to wait because she will have to go back to the Philippines at that time. Is this really going to take another 45 days? Has anyone else been in this situation that expediting still takes a long time?

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Make a phone call into USCIS, get a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, and inquire about case status - and ask what happened with that expedite. see http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/gc_1221837986181.shtm#5

If yer stuck at USCIS, and need speed at NVC, you'll need to ask for the expedite at NVC as well.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
