wherever it says "COUNTRY of..." put Vietnam. Where it says "nationality" or "citizenship" (without the word "Country") put Vietnamese.

It says country of citizen/nationality so for you, I should write Vietnam.right? I was confused before your answer that they asked about 2 different things.

Thank you,

One more question, is that should I write N/A or just leave it blank for some blanks on the forms?

that's a disputed thing: at first I was told that no space should be left blank, therefore we put N/A to fill in any spaces. sent everything out that way, no problem whatsoever, approved with no RFEs.

but then, a few weeks ago when I went for my biometrics, the lady that checked the forms literally scolded me because I had written N/A, saying that I should leave blank everything that does not pertain to me.

if you're filing the petition for the K-1, I'd say that N/A is just fine. you can also check the guides on top of this page, you can see all the sample forms.

You never leave anything blank. How does the immigration drone know that you simply did not FORGET to enter the VERY IMPORTANT answer? You need to fill in "N/A" or "None" whatever seems to be more appropriate.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Can you believe that the lady at my local ASC used the correction fluid to cancel all my N/A's?

LOL, this problem seems more complicated than I thought.I just put none when it says state none if no.I just leave it blank when it doesnt say anything like that.for example, Should I write none in alien registration number when I dont have it? I'm kinda concerned that they will send my applications back to me just because of that problem.Anyways, for me, USCIS makes things so complicated :(.

Let me tell you a thing: when we first started putting together the forms for the K1, we wrote N/A everywhere because it was faster than writing "NONE". We had not found VJ yet, so we didn't think there was any substantial difference between the two (for instance, I have no middle name, therefore N/A or NONE would both work, IMHO).

After submitting the petition, I read on this site that somebody apparently had received RFEs for having written N/A where NONE was appropriate, and vice versa. I spent a few months in agony, thinking that we had screwed up the whole thing. Time passed. And no RFEs ever came. we received NOA2 and the rest is history.

As to the alien registration number (that you don't have yet): I don't know what they want. I don't know whether you have to write N/A or NONE. Again, both work to me.

The only certainty I had was that for no reason we were allowed to leave any spaces blank.

And then, coupe de grace to any possible line of reasoning: the correction fluid used to cancel my N/As, together with the scolding for having written a thing that I was not supposed to write.
