So G is in the U.S.!!!!!! Pretty cool! Except he says that the CBP stamped his passport with Nov 1 (the date he arrived in the U.S.- Miami was his POE), and then wrote in Jan 1st, 2011 by hand--- this date is 60 days from the arrival date, not the 90 days given by the K1 visa... what do we do?? :( (Ironic because we were planning on getting married Jan. 7th-- thinking that'd give us 3 weeks just in case something happened and it wouldn't be last minute... now our wedding date is suddenly past the date written on G's passport?)

HELP!

Someone with more experience will probably chime in, but I'd recommend calling the border where he crossed (Miami, right?) and see what they say. Or perhaps you could make an InfoPass appointment at your nearest USCIS office and ask their advice. I think calling the POE is the best bet, though.

P.S. Congrats!!

Calling the POE is a good idea but by doing so, what is she going to achieve and most importantly who can she speak to?? An info pass is your best bet! Best of luck and enjoy your honey!

Well I suggested that because I know in cases where the POE people don't take the mystery envelope, people advise them to call and go to those deferred inspection sites. So I think calling the POE is a good starting point.

G or Jen, let us know what happens!

I'm thinking it's a mistake because all through October the CBO agent was thinking "90 days out is in January" and being Nov 1, was still thinking as such. You most probably can correct it easily via an InfoPass appointment.
