OK so I am an idiot. I made the dumbest mistake on my I-751 petition. we had just recently moved when i was filling it out(we had moved to our new residence 2 days prior) and for my wofes address i put our current address, for my address i put the previous address we lived in just out of habit, and of course got a request for evidence. it says it appears you and your spouse don't live together"please submit a photo copy of you license or state i.d showing the same residential address" seems like no big deal, except here in california when you change your address online or at the dmv they don't send you a new license reflecting the new address, they simply just update there computers....so what do i do? print out the dmv page that says that the don't send out new licenses? and send a copy of both our leases, and maybe a written statement from the apartment manager saying we have lived together?

please respond

you can do all 3 options you've mentioned and you can also get that paper type ID from the DMV where you and your wife can indicate your new home address. you need to carry this with you together with your driver's license as this will show your current address. we used to live in San Diego and this is what my husband and I do everytime we change address.

Even though the DMV doesn't send out free licenses, you can go and pay $30 or so each for new licences showing the updated address.

I would do that.
