When I received my NOA2 from TSC (dated 23 Nov), I waited 1 week before I called NVC to find out my case #. Until now NVC still does not have my file. There are several of us in the same boat. I put in a service request to USCIS about 3 weeks ago to find out where my petition was. I received a letter from USCIS (TSC) dated 23 December, that stated: "Your application was ordered approved in November; however, the processing is not complete. The application has not been transferred to the National Visa Center, and the approval letter has not been sent. A request has been made to the adjudicating officer to complete the processing of this application". The letter was signed by "Officer XMO217 USCIS". So, 13 days later, I am still waiting for the adjudicating officer to "complete the processing of my application". NOTE: For some of the sticklers who read this forum, TSC used the word "application" in the letter I received vice "petition".

I am back from India. Spent almost 6 weeks there with my wife. Tthis made the waiting little bearable but now back to U.S. :( alone and trying everything (service request, letters to senator) I can to get some answer.

It seems to me that there is something major obstacle for all of us who were transferred to TSC. There is not a single person who got approved and went to NVC with the approved petition. Also people with approved expedite are not receiving any decision even after month or month and half and finally even congressional inquiries can't seem to get anything rolling. To me it just seems that something major has happened that is stopping any work to be done on these cases. I just hope they haven't lost all of our files

Thanks for the follow-up!

Normally I would think that this is good news for the July filers who are still in limbo, but taking into consideration the apparent lack of any coherent trend, I'm not entirely sure how to process the info you were given- especially because I would bet you if you were to phone again, you may very well be given different information. As in my case, you may even be told by one officer that the other officer had given you completely incorrect information

Either way, let us hope for the best.

And I'm still looking into what options we may have as a group, just as a few others on this thread are doing.

Cheers :)

Has there been any plane crashes en-route from California to Texas? wacko.gif

You're right though - something major HAS happened, as even senators cannot get through. Our latest call to a very nice Tier 2 person, when confronted with the lack of action on our expedite was that he couldn't believe why it hadn't been dealt with. Another officer told us that she would fax Texas on our behalf, and then said "Mmm - that's weird, they have removed the TSC fax number". Very strange, and worryingly puzzling. We hope now for a miracle of batch approvals.....

Either our applications are being used in some kind of inter-office backstabbing political stunt, or they gave all our petitions to one guy who promptly went on extended leave, or both. The fact that nothing has been approved in 2 months since they transferred to "speed up processing" is positive proof.

My senator's office should be contacting me soon and I am curious as to if they will have any luck getting through to TSC.

I don't really know what to think. Maybe NVC is so backlogged with TPS, etc, petitions/applications, USCIS is holding on to petitions to allow NVC to clear some of their backlog. Does anyone know if any of the other approvals from other Service Centers have been forwarded to NVC, or is it just the petitions being adjudicated at TSC?

I'm trying to believe that the USCIS had good intentions when they had transferred us to TSC. Like you and a few other are saying though, the lack of approvals from a center that had been thought to get things expedited is disconcerting to say the least. Especially for the July filers.

Something that we need to remain cognizant of however is that we on this thread probably, and likely, represent a very minute fraction of people out there who had been transferred from CSC to TSC. Therefore it's hard to assess if there is a statistically significant trend with such few known numbers of us- all we have are a handful of people in the same boat, with no information on what's happening to the rest of the transferees out there.

What would argue towards there being a chance that something terribly went awry with the transferees is if hindustani24 meant to say that CSC applicants are not having any issues getting to and through the NVC component.

I just called about the service request I submitted December 20th. The response was SUPRISE wait another 60 days. I asked if I could submit another service requestion. I was told that I was still 4 days short from being out of processing time. Which is exactly what I was told on December 20th. I asked how that could be possible, he said he couldn't answer that.

60 days is the uscis standard ruling. once you submit a s.r. you have to wait a minimum 60 days before requesting another.

not sure if these number work, or will be of any help for that matter, but a bit of digging, i came across these:

California (CSC) fax number: 1-949-389-8070 and 1-949-389-8689

Texas (TSC) fax number: 1-214-962-2632

and then theres the CIS Ombudsman. has anyone called them?
