Fermat - totally agree with you and have been saying the same thing. The only thing that was speeded up by the transfer of our cases to TSC was the ability of CSC to process cases later than ours. Why the USCIS doesn't look at this more "wholistically" is tough to digest. I contacted my congressman's office last week, and they're getting involved. I do think that the more calls the TSC gets from inquiring congressmen reps, the better. Maybe at some point it will be recognized that there's a real consistent issue here, not just a couple of people who are impatient. Let's keep putting the pressure on...

Im with you. We were transfered to TSC also. My NOA1 is Aug 24. Most likely the end of the line for the people that were transfered. God only knows when our NOA2 will come.

MERRY CHRISTMAS USCIS! YOU SUCK!

April/May? Seriously, what the hell do you know? You sound like a complete a@@hole for posting here. With all due respect, I'm tired of people who got their NOA2 in 86 days but did not file until 2 months after me telling me that patience is good. You guys are not helping at all.

Cool it and don't spout off like an ID10T. I wasn't telling you anything. I was replying to aviatorbill making a joke about misspelling of patience! Sit down and shut up!

In any event, I am happy to see NOA2's for one and all even the ones that were being approved more quickly than mine while i waited not knowing for how long I would have to wait.

With all due respect to someone who deserves none after a personal attack, It sucks to be any of us. 86 days is too long to wait for a bureaucrat to push some papers around. You are getting roayally screwed in the system, but don't take your bull$hit attitude out on me.

I know it's not your fault, but I think the Sept/Oct filers clearly benefited by being moved to the front of the line as a result of this transfer to TSC. If you want to help out, instead of posting advice here you could write to your conegressman and tell them what happened as June/July is still stuck at TSC with seemingly no progress. Especially now since most of them are likely on holiday for the next 2 weeks.

Why didn't CSC transfer the August/Sept filings to TSC if there was going to be a 90-day delay as a result of transfer and continue working on the June/July themselves? It seems that would have made too much sense.

Now that i vented, it is no ones fault here, Like I posted, everyone is being screwed, just another example of bureaucratic inefficeince, nnegligence, ineptitude, callousness..........take your pick.

I have a very influential congressman in my district. I have already spoken face - face twice to the Constituent Services Specialist in his office after receiving NOA2. She has many many constituents that are in the same boat as the VJ'ers who were farmed out to Texas. She cannot even get a straight answer........it is pathetic what is going on with the petitions of May ,June and July filers. I have provided her with a complete copy of our I-130 petition in the hopes that it can help others to navigate the system more efficiently in the future.

Don't think it matters, i got a rubberstamp and you got railroaded, but all you can do is be patient, the hostility is only going to make your situation more untenable. hostile or not your wait is going to be the same.

I was personally attacking the other "PATIENTS" guy, who I guess is a troll predicting April/May. I appreciate you contacing your congressman. Your timeline just reminded me how silly this system is. But I'm glad you posted because now I know what's going on. I come here to find out the facts as best I can, not to be consoled or to cry the blues, and I'm not interested in speculation.

Is he a doctor?

:rofl:you're too funny, good thing your humor is still intact ;) Thank you for the chuckle, my OCD is in overdrive at the moment so before it gets too late, i need to go shopping and buy two gallons of milk. ;)

My thoughts on this:

CSC keeps their quota/timelines/etc intact by sending the petitions they're behind in processing to a center which does not normally process them - the blame for not meeting deadline goes to TSC. Processing in 2 months at CSC, and staying 'ahead of schedule', makes employees look great there.

I'm curious if they get year end bonuses for staying on deadline...

I'm also wondering how many other K-3s got an automatic expedite?

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Yeah, exactly, they have met the deadline, haven't they? Don't they have to change the info on the website which clearly says:

USCIS National Goal - 5.0 Month(s)

USCIS National Average - 5.0 Month(s)

Texas Service Center - 5.0 Month(s)

Sorry, USCIS, it seems to be misleading...

My priority date was July 20th. I called today and the operator escalated. I talk to an agent. He said the computer said I still have 4 days to go before it was out of processing time. (I don't know if this is a leap year or if the lunar eclipse is causing a problem with the dates). He said he would send a note to TSC to remind them it was outside of processing time and that they should respond by January 5th (2011?? I forgot to ask). Gave me a reference number. He seemed not to have any more information about my case than the level 1 operators but was able to send a message.

if you look at your NOA1 and your i-797 notifying of transfer to TSC you will notice a little change in dates. Slick of them but i noticed and posted right away; many responded saying theirs was same. When i called about it i was told 'no, your date is this (the date on transfer notice) and not that (date on NOA1)" then they tried to convince me NOA1 date was date i had mailed to them and they dont go by that (gggrrrrrr). they were hearing nothing i was saying (again grrrrrrrrr).

Just for the record, i MAILED to them at end of June, my NOA1 is early July, they moved me (with transfer to TSC) to end of July.

It's absolutely misleading... but if they are now getting petitions approved in 2-3 months, that gives leeway to process others at 7-8 months, and they still keep their 5 month average. CSC pawned off the ones they were behind on to TSC, which doesnt normally process them but only stepped in to help, so they (TSC) will get in no trouble for that becasue "not my job" is a good CYA answer on that. Knowing how govt jobs are, they (TSC) will probably get recognition "for all their hard work". {sigh}

My priority date is June 28th and NOA1 was July 1. They put in a SR for me due to it being out of processing time and the only thing the person i talked to cared about was the NOA 1 date and not the transfer dates. Or if a SR really even does anything. So who knows whats really true lol.
