Getting depressed or sad and sit around computer won't help you. Call USCIS and talk to tier 2 person, ask him clearly whether your waiting clock starts again after transfer ? and listen what he says,,, automatic voice system can be used to filter down no. of callers.

Check my time line, I am same as you, and I called those guys and asked about this for 3 times. Every time tier 2 people said that clock does not start over again. Although transfer game adds little delay to the case. And you can always request service request after 180 days. I have got the same info from all tier 2 person in my last 3 calls.

Hint to you... google the phrase 'USCIS Ombudsman'

Since California is approving September and some October cases now, I believe that they shouldn't have transferred the July cases to Texas. If they had kept July than half af those cases would have been approved by now. I am an August filer so either way I had to wait but I feel for the July filers. Stay strong and keep hopes up.

Has anyone had any touches this week?

I really have a hard time picturing someone at the CSC having a giant stack of June/July/August cases and sending them over to TSC separated by month. I mean, wouldn't they have had piles and piles of these cases and just sent them all mixed up? There haven't been any approvals from TSC in a few weeks now. I think it was just a coincidence that the approved petitions were all from August.

I don't know, I'm just trying to think from a different angle and see if there's any method to their madness.

I agree, they don't seem to be following any pattern as far as NOA1 dates. What I don't understand is that they were apparently competent enough to approve those few cases (that we know of) a couple of weeks ago, but since then they have done NOTHING except send out bogus update emails that don't make any sense whatsoever.

I just hope they get their act together soon and get us ALL approved in the next month or so.

my concerns echo yours and those expressed by the rest of the members here. we all comprise such a minute portion of the CSC-TSC transferee group- i wonder what the actual NOA2 stats must look like for our group in sum.

as a side note, i have to say i'm glad i comprise a part of this small representative forum of transferees- as many of the folks here have said, it's nice to be able to share our individual knowledge and opinions with people facing the same struggle.

peace B-)

Hi guys!

I am another unlucky one. Filed I-130 for my husband (I am a citizen), our priority date - June 30th. The case was transferred to TSC on November 2, last touch on November 29th. And then... nothing.

I was planning to call USCIS but based on other people's accounts it will not give us any result so far.

It's incredibly frustrating!

I wonder if there's been a precedent for a botch-up of this scale, and how they'll find a solution that enables them to save face (given how important that often is for government staff). It would be particularly interesting to know how they resolve it when this many people are affected, and we are all eligible to request expedites of our congressmen once we're past the 5-month mark (December 31st and earlier for all June and July filers). It's a larger-than-usual number by any guesstimate - unfortunately the USCIS processing volumes and trends page (http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=5&charttype=2) doesn't show information for November or we'd know exactly how many spousal applications are waiting at TSC. So, it looks like we (June and July filers) have a few options: (1) wait and see (i.e., do nothing); (2) keep calling and get some kind of response through TSC staff; (3) contact the USCIS ombudsman, congressmen and/or senators to get them to investigate/resolve this speedbump. Can anyone think of any other options?

Here's some info on the Ombudsman:

To help improve customer service, we seek feedback from our customers, stakeholders, and affiliated agencies to help identify issues that directly affect you. Email the Ombudsman Liaison Unit at OLUInquiries@dhs.gov. Please explain your concern, question, or suggestion as clearly as possible. Regrettably, we cannot post any inquiries online if they have case-specific or personal information in them.

I think I am going to email him, over and over and over and over. Maybe that will get me somewhere? I'm not yet to the 5 month mark, I've got a week left, BUT I think I will email him now, make light of the fact June/July filers were transferred, NOT approved but August/Sept/Oct filers have been approved. :bonk:
