I just posted this on another thread: Today we received an i-797C that says "This is to advise you that we have received the above application or petition back from the Department of State, along with their request that it be reviewed. We will notify you of any action we take on this case." It looks like USCIS forwarded the petition to the Department of State, as they should when the I-130 petition is approved, but they did it prior to properly approving it, forcing Dept. of State to return it to USCIS for adequate processing. Very likely an internal mistake from USCIS, but this notice indicates that it is back on the right track. Go figure.

Hey,

I've been on VJ since August. I know that this question is asked in every thread I'm sure but what is my NOA1 date.

for my noa1 i have received date/priority date august 5. and notice date august 14.

on my tranfser notice I have receipt date august 14 with a notice date of nov 3.

I once had my my noa1 date as august 14 and then recently changed it to aug 5, but I think I need to change it back to august 14. If that's the case Saylin could you change my Noa1 date on your spreadsheet and I'll update my timeline. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you're right, your NOA1 date would be August 14. Updated the spreadsheet :)

I think we can only wait and see - right now all we are hearing is speculation because the notifications are so vague. As someone said a few days ago, the only word that we can count on for sure is "approved".

If you received the NOA2 on mail saying that you are approuved, then you are approuved no matter if they updated the site or not, it happened to one of my friends too, she received the NOA2 at home before it was updated in teh site, and the HARD copy is what matters! get ready for NVC :)

The same for me. My petition approved on the 23rd (hard copy received on 29th). I got touches on 24 and 26. LOTO advised me that the touches after my approval was when petition was transferred to NVC. Makes sense to me! Don't worry......we are APPROVED!! I haven't received the NVC case # yet, but I am calling them TWICE a day. Don't rely on the AVR......talk to a HUMAN.

dont have much time but just wanted to post we got another i-129f touch today

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.
