Hoping it means, they'll process our I-129F's and send them to NVC 1st, so we can complete the K-3 process. After all, we would've never submitted the forms if we didn't intend to go that route. Good luck!

We MAY be lucky here, because it appears the cases were split - UNLESS, they have now just been rejoined...

This is a bit baffling to say the least!! tongue_ss.gif

I just got this notice off the USCIS website regarding our case.

Like others I am left to wonder which office they mean?

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office."

Yes, that just means it was transferred to TSC, but it is NOW BEING WORKED ON. My case says the same thing now, but at first when it was orignally transferred it just said it was transferred to TSC. It didn't say it was being worked on because I don't think they were working on it yet at that time. I think they just want us to know that they are actually working the cases now, so it's a good thing!

I agree with that.

I ALSO think now, the 129F & the I130's have been paired up again, so maybe we'll still be going down the CR1 route. That's my opinion anyhow.

I agree, and I think they make the process harder then it needs to be. I feel as though we the petitioners should have the choice of choosing which route we want to take instead of it being decided for us. If NVC doesn't want to process both the I-130 and I-129F at the same time then ask the petitioner to choose one and then go from there. I realize that they have already set their policy, but that doesn't change my feelings on the subject.

Yea...finally got a touch on my I-129F petition instead of the I-130 petition! 1st touch since 11/02 transfer notice. Hoping it hits NVC b4 the

I-130, so I can finish the K-3 instead of doing the CR-1. Don't care about the extra steps or fees, I just want my hubby here with me asap!

Now THAT is interesting - as we're on K3 also.

I thought the I-129F was dead due to no touches.

Interesting!

Oh my - we ALSO got a touch on the I-129F - just now!

Wonder what this means??

add us to that I-129F touch count today!

Hoping it means, they'll process our I-129F's and send them to NVC 1st, so we can complete the K-3 process. After all, we would've never submitted the forms if we didn't intend to go that route. Good luck!

that's what ours says also

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Any new approvals today ?

I have no problem with August filers but now this is going unfair, august filers are getting approvals and june july filers are still at bottom of the pile.

Yes, I'm happy for them - it's not their fault, but there does seem to be an element of unfairness!! It's human nature for us June/July filers to feel a little a grieved.

CONGRATUALTIONS!

Was the first thing you knew about the approval the arrival of the hard copy by snail mail? Thanks.good.gif

LOL - I see you said that in your post!

Interesting, you're the second who first found out by snail mail.

Maybe we should all keep an eye on our mailboxes!
