My Senator told me 30 days ago that my case was with an officer. Does not make sense for me to be tranferred if that was true. Do you suppose they just told her that to get them off their backs?

7 month 12 days, NO touches on my case since 11/29/2010. Just sent email to Angela Barrows. She can be my angel!

Hang in there everybody... CSC was told to adjudicate because according to Angela, she said my case was no longer in TSC it was in CSC.. so CSC is also doing their jobs... Also, people she emailed me at 6 in the morning texas time.. I live in texas.. so they are working big time... tonight we will see approval and shipping to NVC

By the way buddy, you must be OVER THE MOON after how bad you felt last night.

There's some heartbreaking and fantastic stories on here.

We should preserve this thread and write a book when we're through.

I think the biggest mess up in the whole of this, is misinformation. USCIS had NO idea, they still don't, of the problems in Texas. They have been following scripts, and telling all sorts of odd things to people. The communication now, (and it is thanks to US that this is happening), is where no lawyer, senator or congressman can ever get through to. It's astonishing really, a group of people talking directly to the director of a service center. I am sure it's unheard of, but it's now working.

People we've had almost 6000 post here and some of us are still calling us June-July filers. What happened to us who filed in August? Are we ghosts here?

What is frustrating to me, is a machine could do a better job. i dont know why our tax money is going to employeeing people that read from a computer screen and just follow it exactly. That doesnt make any sense. it would save a ton of money if they just fire the employees. They can put a link online that says if your past this date then fill out this form for a process request.

You missed a lot. I hope you get better soon. In a nutshell, around 20-30 people have been approved since last week. TSC made a statement admitting the screw up. Some files are being transferred back to California and they are promising to adjudicate everyone by March 1.

edit: And we all get an escorted ride to NVC.

Angela Barrows is my hero! I wrote an email to her this morning after I got that third status update about being transferred to a USCIS office, and she wrote me back less than 50 minutes later with this:

"Your petition is at CSC and is with an officer today. This is good news! "

I really think she is doing her best, and it's nice to know someone has got our backs. I hope those of you who are still waiting to hear back from her receive something soon.

And congratulations to everyone else who has been approved/shipped to NVC! It's hard to keep up!
