Awesome Wade.... yeah, it's been a while.... problem is (for us) is that by the time she does get here... it will be time for me to go on a 6-8 month deployment Spending the first 2 years of your marriage apart is not too cool.

That's a long time.........longer than a WestPac tour.

Yeah, it's tough. As soon as our taxes come back (still working on ITIN), I am going to go to Brazil again... I can hardly wait LOL. WOW, 34 days out of 424???? That is horrible. I don't know if I could do it. USCIS, NVC, and the Consulates need to HURRY up and process ALL of us

I was lucky enough to see my husband recently, for two and a half weeks in December/January. Before that, the last time was for two and a half weeks in June 2010 after not seeing him since December 2009. Up until that point, we had spent nearly every day and night of our relationship together (about 13 months), so the sudden and unexpected separation in December 2009 (it's a long story, but we didn't even get to say goodbye) was really traumatizing because we felt that we had been torn apart from each other.

Of the last 424 days, we've spent a total of 34 days together. Coming back home after this last visit was especially difficult because after all that time apart, being together again just reminded me of how we belong together, and how we should be together all the time.

A couple of weeks ago, I got so fed up with waiting and not knowing what was going on at TSC. My job is stressing me out, and I can barely focus on anything because I am obsessed with this visa process. So I decided to buy a plane ticket for my husband to come visit me for a little while. I know it's risky, but honestly, having him here with me now seems like the only way to not constantly be in despair. Now there are all of these new developments which give me hope, but we still don't know how much longer the whole process will really take, so it's still going to be worth the risk if I can actually see his face and hear his voice (not through a computer) and hold him again.

So sad. But... just like I tell my wife.... if we can make it through this [immigration] process.... we can make it through anything. I hope you get to see her soon.

Seems that this is all for today approvals. Congrats for all that have been approved and our hope is that rest of us will have good news soon

And by the way Nascarfan186 in 1 year an 11 months I have seen my wife for 22 days(22 Dec 2010-13 Jan 2011)

Congrats, Tina. And to those I missed out on..it's hard to cope up with this thread!

I still feel that there would be more approvals in the next few days, as in massive; even the ones that got transferred back to CSC. They also want us off their backs, and that is good!

What a GREAT story that was. What a roller coaster of emotions. One minute - shipped to CSC, the next minute approved! Amazing! I'm thrilled for you.

Just before I went to sleep, Val & I were on the 'phone discussing all of this, and she said "I feel sorry for waiting4dlord". All that, and now transferred to CSC.

I wake up, and you're APPROVED! That is so fantastic! How confused must THAT have made Saylin!

WADE, you've been a HUGE figure in exposing this mess, and I'm glad the interview went well. Let's hope this never happens again to anyone in the future.

As for us, despite promises, we are STILL awaiting our expedited approval to got to NVC. Most of the other approvals around our date, and even beyond our date have had "shipping to NVC" emails. We have heard nothing as yet. I am PRAYING for a mail tonight so we can both can sleep over the weekend.
