I also got approval on Jan 25, 2011. But I don't understand the optimism. TSC hasn't actually sent any to the NVC have they/ - I mean that NVC actually has in hand? notice that TSC has sent 3 email saying that it is approved and shipped -- Jan 4, Jan 28, and Feb 7 --- aviatorbill

No wonder they've delayed other people's approvals. They've been too busy approving mine!

I received a hard copy I-797, Notice of Action for a I-130 on JANUARY 4 that my petition has been approved and sent to NVC.

On January 29, I received the following message in an email from TSC:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On January 28, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directlynuary 28, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly

Now last night I received this message in an email:

On February 7, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Soo my timeline is completely screwed. Does all this mean I will receive 2 visas and I can give one to my wife and sell the other one on Ebay?

P.S. Still waiting for the NVC case#. I call and the AVR tells me they have not yet received the case.

Actually today I got another SMS/Email saying I got transferred to CSC again.

Just to recap, yesterday I got two SMS/Emails saying first that I got transferred to CSC and then transferred to an USCIS office.

Now I'm back to CSC.

speachless... :blush:

I think we're the only January approval who has NOT been sent to NVC now. Only slightly worried....

Don't get too worried...I was approved on the 10th of January and on the 3rd of Feruary I recieved the email they have shipped my case to NVC...I have been calling everyday and they still don't have my case

and today at 8:13pm eastern i get a text and e-mail saying:

Val and Gary: You are not the only ones. I haven't gotten another bogus "approval" notice either (just one). I was supposedly approved on Jan 25 and yet it hasn't been sent to NVC. But I don't know of any that have actually made it to the NVC. Looks like TSC has deliberately not done anything on these cases. I think that they are angry about the 36,000 petitions and have retaliated against the only ones that they could -- against us, the helpless ones.

I got transferred today .. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING...man.. my email says is Initial Review.. we are probably have to wait another 4 months.. not fair.. I got an expedite.. my daughter is about to loose her therapies.. man I am so mad.. after 214 days I get transferred again??? tomorrow I will email Barrows because today she sent me a message that she was going to look into my case.. for WHAT to transfer it... ughhh

So sorry man. BUT, when the case DOES get to CSC, believe me they know how to expedite, so get your medical docs ready, and call USCIS for a Tier 2 as soon as it hits CSC. You'll be through in days.
