hello. We filed in late july and got our noa1 4th august. we've been from california to texas and now back to california again - we got the email today. can you add that to help your spreadsheet percentages.

You were already on my spreadsheet. What date was listed in the email for when you got transferred back to CSC? Was it dated today or earlier this week?

google voice? :D Good idea! Dangit...or not! It says it is not available in my country BOO!!!

Google Voice actually isn't available right now anywhere EXCEPT the US. But there's a work around of course. You have to hide or disguise your IP then you can sign up. That's what I did. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sign up. I used these exact instructions (http://www.mycellphonemyterms.com/General/2010/09/getting-google-voice-to-work-in-canada/) and had my Google account set up within a few short minutes! The only thing is, you need a US number to set up Google Voice. If you don't have one, use your spouse's number in the USA ;)

Officer Garza told me my petition was "in transit", but I got no email or text notification either. I'm guessing I'm one of those. I'm fine with it, that's man-hours that they can be spending on approving petitions instead of on useless transfer notices.

Just called USCIS and they said that a lot of files are being transferred and they may not notify the recipients of the transfer. They said my file got transferred to California, but I didn't receive any notice nor 'touches'.

I wanted to say that I called NVC at 7:30 am (10:30 am eastern) and I got through to an operator in about 3 minutes. I'd recommend don't call during lunch hours or after work hours. I don't know for sure if this is true since today was my first experience with the majestic NVC.

Wow, 3 minutes? Holy smokes! I've only called 4 times and they were all 20-30 minute wait.

I called USCIS right now, explained the whole thing. After that she said You have to wait 60 days. She said my case still under Initial Review. We are currently reviewing it. I am like ok. so what state is it at . She is like initial review. She couldnt even answer a simple question. All she repeated is wait 60 days.

This is Frustrating. I hoped and wished to get a Correct Reply atleast.

No problem ;)

Ahh, I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant free for Canadians to sign up, but you meant making calls to Canada. My bad!

My gut feeling is a storm of approvals tomorrow. I hope it's tonight though, but I just feel tomorrow is more likely.

I don't know about a storm of approvals- I wouldn't be surprised if we saw an approval or two tonight based on the past few days' activity.

I think when we call USCIS we need to just by default asked to be transferred to a tier 2 rep, because the tier 1 rep just totally gives scripted responses. I called three times and finally learned just to be transferred to a tier 2 and they are more informative, at the least.

Interview completed, it was almost 2 hours.......details when I get home tonight.

Also, I see a lot of CSC > TSC users in here now that were not previously, what made you decide so come out now?

I've been on here since July, however I haven't had anything new to add to the discussion although I was in the same situation. I was transferred to Texas alongside all of you, but I've contacted my senator, written to TSC, ombudsman, just like many of you. 36,000 of us are on the same boat in one way or another. I hope you have a very speedy transit to the NVC--that will be a deep sigh of relief. As for me, still awaiting the initial approval.
