Yes, that's the one. Technically, when it comes through from her, it's Angela.Barrows@dhs.gov but I'm sure the upper case makes no difference in email.

Thanks! Yah, that would be weird the uppercase vs lowercase made a difference :)

She's probably just got me blocked!

And another August filer has gotten transferred back to CSC. Hmm...

True the percent of the 36k might be different.

Looking at the bottom of my spreadsheet, 27/66 July filers have gotten approved (41%) whereas only 16/62 August filers have gotten approved (26%). So, I'd have to say otherwise to what you said. There's definitely been more July approvals than August.

it's not about hate!! It's about people that DO NOT know how it feels to wait 6-7-8 months (even if they say that thay do care)and DO NOT realize that they only got lucky because we got screwed!!!

I got Oct. filers tell me that "I feel bad for you guys, it sucks but I got lucky,I aproved in 2 or 3 months and I am not going to feel guilty about it" And I also got sugestions from them (as if we haven't done everythhing) like you should call and take it on uscis!

Well, they call me "the bitter one" because I have posted a few things :D (like;I hope that uscis puts thigs in order, rectifies the mess, and I hope we will get through NVC faster or before Oct./Nov.that needs to wait the time before the NVC) and they all got pissed off.

I guess they will come to us for help later on "help, we got stuck outside processing time, Dec./Jan. are getting NOA2 before us....what to do?" LOOOL

I really wish you would stop spewing venom about the Oct/Nov filers.

I have kept quite for a long time now, but I cant stand the "them vs us" attitude that you are trying to create.

I also wanted to add my support for all of you guys here. I am an avid stalker of this thread, but dont post much as i know that NO words can make better this horrific injustice that you have all gone through. Its is not just 36,000 people affected, it is all the families separated, and children growing up minus a parent because of paperwork screw-ups and incompetant people.

I also want to say the BIGGEST congratulations to everyone approved, and it looks like things are really speeding up, and I so hope it continues this way. NONE of the Oct/Nov filers (bar Raj who apparently wants to speak on our behalf but is actually a Jan filer) want to step on the toes of any of you here. We all want you approved before us and KNOW that is is completely unfair when people who have only been waiting 2 or 3 months get approved before those of you here.

To Mrs T. You are right, I have no idea what it feels like to wait 6-7-8 months, but the fact that you would wish that upon someone who is in the same situation as you - seperated from their loved ones - is spiteful. I truly hope that I never have to wait that long, and while I have nowhere near the level of outrage all of you have, if there is anything I personally can do to raise awareness of this issue, dont hesitate to let me know. USCIS must be held accountable for this mess.

So, please, can we end this pseudo-feud, and let VJ go back to being a place of support for EVERYONE here.

Thank you, and best wishes to all of you on the other thread. Frustrations get the better of people sometimes, and as in real life, tempers boil over. People need, and like to vent. We're all different characters, and some of us say things in haste. This situation has been created by the USCIS, who are only now realising the injustice of it all. I think things will go pretty smoothly for all of us now, and I doubt it will add much time to the Oct/Nov filers.

Keep the UK flag flying also!! LOL, we're taking over! kicking.gifkicking.gif ALL the very best, and thanks for your post.

I wanted to say that I called NVC at 7:30 am (10:30 am eastern) and I got through to an operator in about 3 minutes. I'd recommend don't call during lunch hours or after work hours. I don't know for sure if this is true since today was my first experience with the majestic NVC.
