Just got the followin email from Officer Garza:

"Thank you for your inquiry. This case is not lost. It shows to be in transit to the unit where it will be reviewed. If any additional information is needed, you will be notified."

Funny, I did not get a transfer notice to CSC. Maybe I will later today.

would it hurt them to write more clearly and openly?!!!!! "to the unit"!!!! I wonder why they write like that as if it is a top secret .. reminds me of TSC_SVU "special victim Unit"

Interesting, then it may NOT CSC, a unit I would think will be another part of the TSC facility - the APPROVAL unit.

Maybe my bet is back on.....

Hi everyone. I've been silently following this forum and it has been such a help! I am still waiting for my NOA-2. I received the email from Officer Garza stating that I'll hear something by February 18-but that seems like it is eons away. I'll keep everyone posted.

ok I hope to see my approval tonight or at least an answer from anybody. I got a touch yesterday but like others say does not mean too much when you see the Initial Review dot on you case update.... I dont even want to check my email today until tonight so I dont put my hopes up and then nothing...

I got touched yesterday as well but no email sent to me about that, well it does mean they r processing our cases anyways, hopefully an approval is near.

We filed our petitions the same day however, you got your NOA1 soooo fast compared to me. I remember thinking they lost my paperwork as well. I didn't get any notification until August 4! Maybe it was a sign of more waiting to come for me.

I thought I would get a better response if I asked them whether or not they've lost my case. At least then somebody would have to check on it. It's been so long since my case was "touched" who knows?

I want to contact someone so bad, but I guess I'll just wait and see. I'm anxious as my case was touched yesterday, I just want to know something already!!

Has anyone called USCIS to see if their case was transferred to CSC? I just called them, all they told me was that my case needed "additional review". I almost had a good breakdown at work. Is this just a bull$###### answer from a Tier 1 rep that knows nothing?

I threw a bit of a fit after the Tier 1 guy told me that I received a notice on 1/27(which i didn't get) and that I could call back in another 2 months. RIGHT! That would make 9 months at USCIS, and my application was filled out perfectly, tons of info to prove my 12 year relationship, but 9 months, that makes sense.

Got transferred to a Tier 2 Officer and she said she was expediting my case, BUT considering most people that had a dire situation with an expedited case still had to wait 6 months, I'm not going to hold my breath.

So, you guys think this means my case wasn't transferred back to CSC?

I just got a phone call from my senator's office, APPROVED AND SENT TO THE NVC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets see when it changes online :)
